1999

Founding

The success story of BKLS began in 1999 when Reimund Keidel and Dieter Bickert founded a planning office in Petersberg near Fulda. In the first two years, the young company focused on design and layout planning, primarily for the automotive industry. With growing customer demand, BKLS quickly expanded its portfolio and began offering assembly and manufacturing services for small systems, components, and subassemblies.

2001

Relocation to Großenlüder

To meet the increasing space requirements, BKLS moved to Großenlüder in 2001. Here, they found suitable workspaces on Industriestraße. In the same year, the first employee, Mr. Arno Feldmann, joined the team. In the following years, the service portfolio continuously grew. BKLS specialized in assembly services, apparatus construction for production companies, and final packaging technology in the care sector.

2005

Departure of Reimund Keidel

In 2005, Reimund Keidel decided to leave the company at his own request. Despite this loss, BKLS continued its growth trajectory unimpeded.

2009

Development of an Own Product Portfolio

From 2009, BKLS began to develop its own product portfolio in the specialized areas of overhead conveying technology and ergonomics in the workplace. These innovations strengthened the company’s market position and opened up new business opportunities.

2016

Change of Legal Form

In 2016, the company was converted into a GmbH & Co. KG to meet growing demands and optimize the corporate structure.

2019

20 Years of BKLS & New Company Building

After twenty years of successful business, it became clear that the rented premises on Industriestraße were becoming too small and limiting flexibility and quality. In 2018, BKLS decided to invest in its own company building. In April 2019, just in time for the company’s 20th anniversary, the company was able to move into the new, modern premises. This was a significant milestone in the history of BKLS and laid the foundation for continued success.
