Customer requirement

A comprehensive technical modernization was to be carried out for an existing press used for drying glued wall elements. The goal was to increase operational safety, replace worn components, and adapt the system to current safety standards. At the same time, an economical alternative to a costly new acquisition was to be created.

Our solution

BKLS implemented a comprehensive retrofit of the existing system. After a complete assessment of the current state, the system was digitized and transferred to a CAD system to precisely plan necessary adjustments and optimizations.

Subsequently, the machine was disassembled, and all assemblies underwent mechanical overhaul. Worn components were replaced, technical systems were added, and the entire system was cleaned and repainted. Additionally, the press was modernized in terms of safety technology and equipped with a new safety fence. Finally, the complete reassembly was carried out, including the reissuance of the CE marking.

Result

Through the retrofit, the existing press was completely modernized both technically and in terms of safety. The system now complies with current safety standards and offers significantly improved operational safety and an extended service life. At the same time, an economical and sustainable alternative to a new acquisition was realized.
