Customer requirement

For automated packaging processes, flexible gripper technology was required that can handle different bottle and can formats safely and gently. The solution needed to adapt flexibly to different packaging units while reliably protecting sensitive surfaces.

Our solution

BKLS developed modular gripper technology for use in automated robot cells. The grippers enable precise picking and placing of bottles and cans into cartons or trays.

Thanks to the standardized BKLS interface, different gripper tools can be integrated flexibly and adapted to various product requirements. Special surface finishes such as rubber coatings also ensure particularly gentle gripping of sensitive products.
