Customer requirement

For the expansion of a production line in prefabricated house construction, a conveying solution was required that reliably transports large and heavy wall segments between the warehouse and production. The system had to integrate seamlessly into the ongoing production process and ensure continuous automated material flow. In addition, complex movement sequences and the secure positioning of components for downstream processes were necessary.

Our solution

With a custom-developed conveying system, BKLS implemented a high-performance material flow solution for prefabricated house construction. The conveying line was specifically designed to move wall segments both horizontally and vertically and to optimally prepare them for further processing.

An integrated turner automatically positions the components for the subsequent process steps. The entire system was built on a steel structure with a maintenance walkway and fully integrated into the existing production environment, including the gantry crane. Control is carried out using modern Siemens technology, enabling fully automatic operation of the entire conveying line.

Result

The conveying system enables continuous and efficient material flow between the warehouse and production. Large wall segments are transported safely, automatically, and gently, and optimally prepared for downstream processes. Through intelligent integration into the existing production environment, process flows could be optimized and manual handling efforts significantly reduced.
