Customer requirement<\/h2>\n

For an existing production process, a solution was required to automatically position lids correctly and reliably feed them to the downstream conveying process. The objective was a simple, robust, and low-maintenance sorting solution without complex mechanics or additional handling systems. <\/p>\n

Our solution<\/h2>\n

BKLS developed a customized bunker conveyor with integrated sorting function for automatic orientation of lids. The conveying technology ensures that lids reliably reach the conveyor belt with the closure side facing down. <\/p>\n

The functional principle is based on a specially developed geometry in combination with gravity. Correctly oriented lids remain on the conveyor and are transported onward, while incorrectly positioned parts automatically fall back into the container. This creates precise and continuous sorting without additional complex mechanics. <\/p>\n
